Sports Without Steroids

I played sports at a small DIII school where I know for a fact that players were encouraged to "put on 20-30 lbs" in the off season. Coaches would place enormous pressure on athletes and turn a blind eye to steroid use, even promote players who were obvious users. Players would begin cycles immediately after seasons end, and continue throughout off season up until testing began.

I think as far as eliminating steroid use in both college and pro sports offseason testing must be mandatory, and mabey penalties should be inflicted upon the coaches, universities and organizations who are found to have a substantial percentage of users.

This will force coaches to stop pressuring athletes into use and discourage it all together, when their ass is on the line as well.

There is so much that can be said and has been said around this topic.  The game in my eyes is the greatest on earth and it's been damaged.  How does MLB make it right?  How much more bleeding with baseball do before the information is all out there?   My concern is that this will a top-3 topic of conversation in baseball for years to come.  

Fortunately I watch baseball from a pitchers perspective and get most  of my giggles out of thinking through the game attempting to predict every pitch and location.  so I will again strapped myself to a chair at my bar in the basement and proceed to watch 120 games.  Love Comcast!
